Cape Town
The grass levels were low, as were trees. Tree types were Tilia (linden) cypress, eucalyptus and weeds, which included goosefoot, ferns and the daisy family and the indigenous Stoebe. Moulds were low with small but insignificant spikes for Cladosporium.
Johannesburg
Grass levels were low to moderate throughout the week. Tree levels were low and only cypress, gum, pine and Tilia (linden) were detected. Weeds were also low and consisted of goosefoot, the daisy family and erica. Moulds were generally low except for Alternaria which was consistently high

Kimberley
Grass levels fluctuated from low to high, in response to the weather patterns, but were moderate on average and the total grass pollen concentration increased over the previous weeks. No tree pollen was detected and weed levels (the daisy family and goosefoot) were low. Mould levels were generally low but significant levels were seen for Alternaria while small but insignificant Cladosporium spikes were seen..
Durban
The grass count was consistently low and very little tree pollen was detected in the atmosphere. Only cypress and gum tree pollen was trapped. Weed pollen levels were low and consisted of ferns, goosefoot and the daisy family. Moulds were moderate to high as ascospores and basidiospores (includes mushrooms) increased following rain.
Gqeberha
Grasses were low during this sampling period. Tree levels were low and included gum and waxberry. No weed pollen was detected. Mould levels were low but small spikes were noted for ascospores and basidiospores.
