Tree levels were low and only cypress and eucalyptus pollen was detected. Grasses were similarly low. Weed levels were low and consisted of daisy, goosefoot and waxberry. Mould levels were uniformly low.

Kimberley

Pollen levels were generally low with very low counts for trees and weeds. Tree pollen consisted of cypress and prosopis (mesquite) and weed pollen included daisy and ragweed. Grass levels fluctuated from low to moderate but the overall count was moderate. Mould levels were low.

Durban

All pollen levels were low at this sampling site. No grass pollen was detected, just one birch tree pollen grain was seen and weed pollen consisted of daisy and waxberry in small quantities. The mould level was high Large numbers of ascospores were detected, with small peaks for Cladosporium and basidiospores.
